These terms govern the use of NextFund, provided by Mundo Feliz, Lda.("we"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What NextFund is
Software platform that assists in drafting applications for European and national funding (Horizon, CERV, Erasmus+, Portugal 2030, etc.), using AI models and official templates.
2. Account
You must be at least 18. You are responsible for password security and all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorised access.
3. AI-generated content — critical disclaimer
NextFund uses AI models (Claude by Anthropic). Output may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. You, the user, are responsible for:
- Reviewing all content before submitting to the official portal.
- Verifying compliance with call rules and eligibility criteria.
- Ensuring all factual information about your organisation, partners and budget is correct.
We are not certified consultants and do not guarantee approval of any application. NextFund is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional legal, tax or strategic advice.
4. Content ownership
You retain full ownershipof the content you write and files you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence solely to operate the service (store, process, generate responses). We do not use your Content to train AI models nor share it with third parties except sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use NextFund to:
- Submit fraudulent or misleading applications.
- Infringe third-party rights (IP, etc.).
- Bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer or scrape the platform.
- Upload malware or illegal content.
6. Payments and refunds
- Prices are those shown on nextfund.ai. They can change with 30 days' notice for active subscriptions.
- Payments handled by Stripe. Annual plan billed upfront.
- Right of withdrawal: 14 days after purchase you may request a full refund if you have not yet compiled an application (once the service has been fully delivered, the right of withdrawal is lost).
7. Availability
We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance is announced in advance; outages may occur due to third-party providers (cloud, AI models).
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We are not liable for:
- Non-approval or rejection of an application.
- Indirect losses, lost profits, lost opportunity or lost funding.
- Errors in AI output that you did not catch on review.
This limitation does not exclude liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may cancel anytime in settings. After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days to allow recovery.
10. Governing law and venue
Portuguese law. Courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
